Making a Movie on the Opioid Epidemic is the Most Difficult Thing I’ve Ever Done

I have been awake for 33 hours right now without sleep. Don’t be alarmed; this is a light workload considering it’s the final day of editing on my fourth feature film,“Shooting Heroin” (2019). In fact, this morning I was trying to remember just how many all-night post-production sessions I have put into completing this picture. It’s difficult to keep track, but it is safe to say this was only one of over 50 already.
